Please Note:

After much thought, prayer, and fleecing the Lord, we have made the decision to retire.  We are thankful God answered all our questions and made the path easy and quick.

We are joining our long time friends, Pastor Jack Vent and church family at New Life Tabernacle located at 1415 South 87th East Ave., Tulsa, OK  74112.   If you are looking for a great church, come be with us there, you won't be disappointed!  God Bless!!!

Preaching "that old time religion"

...for a modern world.

I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.  He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.  And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.  Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Psalm 40:1-4  KJV

An old man, traveling a lone highway, came at the evening cold and gray, to a chasm deep and wide.

The old man crossed in the twilight dim, for the sullen stream held no fears for him.  But he turned when he reached the other side, and built a bridge to span the tide.

"Old man!", cried a fellow pilgrim near.  "You are wasting your strength with building here; your journey will end with the closing day, and you will never again pass this way.  You have crossed the chasm, deep and wide, why build a bridge at eventide?"

And the builder raised his old gray head: "Good friend, on the path I have come", he said, "there followed after me today, a youth whose feet will pass this way.  This stream, which has been as naught to me, to that fair haired boy, may a pitfall be.  He too, must cross in the twilight dim...  good friend, I am building this bridge for him."

A parable; Author Unknown

As Christians, we are all walking the same path, God help us to be bridge builders, paving the way for those coming after us!!
